Sometimes, there is just a big, black cat that is so impressive you can't get past him. Alexander is that sort of cat. Big, hairy and LOOK at those eyes. :)

Even Ollie stopped to admire him. Alexander is at the Irving shelter, and really, don't you think a manly cat like this would fit right in in your world? Take a drive to Irving. Get yourself a big hunk of gorgeous man cat. Alexander is waiting on YOU!

Late today...stating the obvious. :)  Life is going to be like that with me for awhile. Big painting project and, well, sometimes Ollie can't talk me down off the ladder long enough to go shopping with him.

Now why I decided to look at quilts this time of year is beyond me, but I did. Some of these aren't strictly in the quilt-size range, but are smaller or maybe even wall hangings. But hey...not that many black cat quilts and I was committed to the category. *g*

Ollie and I were tuning in to some classical music yesterday while we were making our way through the shelters looking for an SCS candidate. And there he was! Mozart!! Fate stepped in, so to speak, and made our choice. Mozart is a handsome fellow. Always dressed in classic black, and he's looking for his forever home.

Mozart is currently at the Georgetown shelter...just a short day trip, really. If you could use some music in your life, why not a little Mozart?

So I started doing the portal work for the cat side of the Irving shelter again last weekend. It's been awhile, and there are some very pretty kitties there. Irving is also really fortunate to have a super photographer, Amy Maxey, who is donating her time to the shelter cats.

In honor of the inaugural week of Irving kitties, Ollie went looking for his SCS pick there. NNNNNNOOOOOOOO trouble finding one. Handsome Sebastian is a very handsome senior gentleman who is looking for a forever home. Seriously head over to the Irving shelter and take Sebastian home with you. You NEED Sebastian!
