Ex-Foster Bro OC

Meowmy showed me a picture of my ex-foster doggie bro, OC. He's getting a B-A-T-H at a charity event benefiting the Waco Police K9 Department. Meowmy said he's doing really, really good in his new home and being S-P-O-I-L-E-D  R-O-T-T-E-N....I wouldn't know anything about THAT...not being spoiled OR rotten!

**sigh** Some days, it's just a series of outtakes.

Shelter Cat Saturday, September 24, 2011

Now this little doll REALLY needs a home. So sleek. So beautiful. So numbered? Seriously, her name is A14046051. Really, don't you think she'd make a beautiful addition to your family...and you could give her a great name!

She's in Waco at the HSCT and she's just waiting for YOU!

Name This Kitty!!!!

Looks like this week's Tuesday's Artful Cats is going to slip to next week. What with the new foster dog coming in yesterday (and she's doing great!), I'm just running behind.

I'll give you a hint, though. Next week I'll put up some black cat Halloween stuff.  I know it's a bit early, but what the heck.

Ollie Says....

Just DO it!!

Big black dogs. FIV+ cats. Senior pets. Special-needs animals.
Many factors can make a pet seem "less adoptable." To promote these  unusual (or, in some cases, too common) animals, Petfinder has designated Sept. 17-25, 2011, as "Adopt-A-Less-Adoptable-Pet Week."

Shelter Cat Saturday, September 17, 2011

Oh what a senior beauty this girl is. She's in Waco, and she hasn't been at the shelter long. This girl needs her own lap to lounge luxuriously in. And she's a young senior (remember, shelters label animals 5 years of age and up as "senior.").

And because I love kittens with bright collars, I'm giving you a two-fer.

Little Kara is a precious baby up at the Seagoville shelter. She needs a home of her own, too. And just look at those eyes! Her ID number is 13987096. Kara's link goes to the shelter's Facebook page, but if you'd like to just call and inquire about her, the number is on her flyer.

No one told me it'd be like this...

Meowmy never said, "Now, Ollie, when you come home with us, you'll be subjected to frequent foster D-O-G-S." Nnnnnnnnnoooooooooooooooooo......she never ONCE said that. But it's happened THREE times to me already. And this weekend, it's going to happen AGAIN!!!!

I'd be really really REALLY upset if she hadn't told me about what she's bringing in. She doesn't know how old she is, but she's a really funny color...some brown, but mainly there's all this white. Meowmy also said this new dog can't hear and she was all alone, walking the streets somewhere in Okl...Okla...That place right above us. Looks like one of Meowmy's pans. And where she ended up wasn't a good place for older doggies. I think I know what THAT means.

Anyway, Meowmy said I can show you all this picture.  I was told her name is Alma, but Meowmy said she's going to change that.

Tuesday's Artful Cats, September 13, 2011

I am wasting time looking all over for stuff...leashes, keys, hats. Need a place to organize this stuff. Thinking that hooks are a really good idea, and there are some great cat-themed hooks out there. So that's Tuesday's Artful Cats selection...wall hooks.
