Hi, Ollie! My name is Ramey and I'm a Devon Rex. I don't remember much about my past life, but a couple of years ago, I found myself lost, alone and homeless. I took refuge in the crawl space of a home, and the lady there took me in her house and took good care of me. We still live together, and I'm pretty happy, except she won't let me go outside and play like I love to do, but she got me a friend to play with! Wasn't that nice? Her name is Dolly, but she's just a kid and gets too rambunctious sometimes. Mostly she's ok, though.
I think I'm probably about 8 or 9 years old, like you. I love to lay on my lady when she's sleeping, or on the footrest of her chair. She likes to pet me and even gives me hugs! I like to wake her up every morning to feed us by patting her face. Sometimes she smiles and pats mine, too, but sometimes she tells me no.I'm still trying to learn when it's time to get her up and when it's too early.
Oh, my family lives in Columbus, Ohio, and my lady's name is Kenda Kaiser. She's really nice, but I have to remind her to clean my box sometimes. I'm glad she listens to me when I tell her things. She speaks 'cat'!!Oll

ReplyDeleteMy real mom was an outside cat that came to live with my human mom. She doesn't go outside much anymore, she likes it that way. Hopefully you'll learn to like it too.
