Tuesday's Artful Black Cats, 7/27/2010

Today's Black Cat art is Edgar Allen Poe's The Black Cat.

The 1934 Universal movie poster set a record at auction of $286,000 (USD) back in 2007 when it was auctioned.

For a bit more information on this poster, you can go here:

Amazon has a bit different option (and a whole lot more affordable!)

And the Swedish version:

And some offerings over on Etsy.

And a 1965 paperback book:

  1. The Amazon poster cat looks a lot like Ollie!

  2. LOL...you're right, Laura.

Change the eye color and it looks remarkably like Ollie when I pull up his food dish.

As of 11/3/12, I've had to limit comments on Ollie's blog to only members since it's being hit by a ton of comment spam. If a few weeks, I'll open it back up. Since Ollie is currently on vacation, I don't expect it to be a problem.

Note: Only a member of this blog may post a comment.
