I tried....

God help me, I tried. By the time I took the video, though which was right after the somersault that rolled him off the bed, I was trying not to laugh.

I had hoped using one of the dachshunds homemade "sweaters" that he'd take it better.

Well. No. Not really.

WTF is this?

OMG!!! Get it off! Get it off!

  2. Aww so cute and funny. I always wonder what they're thinking in their innovative minds.

  3. I had a foster kitten that had to wear the cone of shame for a while after pulling out her spay stitches. Amazed me that somehow she thought walking backwards would make it go away....MOL

  4. Granny,

I think Ollie was thinking that if he could back away fast enough, he'd back out of it. At least I *think* that's what he was thinking. LOL

  5. Random,

    "Backwards. The ultimate avoidance trick."

It doesn't work for me either, but what do I know? :)

  6. Oh, Ollie - the new Michael Jackson! When I tried a sweater on Jet, he would just lie there looking pitiful.

  7. Laura,

That first picture where he's laying and sort of hanging onto the blanket? That was the one and only moment of stillness. He wasn't really sure what it was.

Then he figured out he wanted no part of it and the gymnastics began.

As of 11/3/12, I've had to limit comments on Ollie's blog to only members since it's being hit by a ton of comment spam. If a few weeks, I'll open it back up. Since Ollie is currently on vacation, I don't expect it to be a problem.

Note: Only a member of this blog may post a comment.
